Edited: James B. Comey Sworn in as Latest Director of FBI

   On September 4th President Barack Obama introduced former United States Deputy Attorney General, James B. Comey, as the 7th Director of the FBI. President Obama praised Comey's work as an attorney and his dedication to the Bureau's core values of "fidelity, bravery, and integrity". Comey is famously known for his involvement in the persecution of the Gambino and an outstanding history of success in criminal justice. Obama praised Comey's strong moral character and emphasized the importance personal values played when selecting an individual for the position. Comey accepted the nomination while thanking his family and praising the hard working individuals of the Bureau. Comey promised to withhold the traditions of previous director Robert Mueller, who has served since 2001, and vowed to make the FBI better than it has been in the past.
